Driving the Bus

You can finally live that dream of driving a double decker bus!!!  It does take commitment but after a while you can be added to our rota of drivers.

To become a driver you need to meet the following:

· Be at least 25 years old.

· Hold a current PSV / HGV / PCV driving license or hold a full private car licence for at least 2 years and undergo 10 hours of driving the bus under supervision by us.

As a driver you would not be expected to drive more than 2/3 times a month with once a month as a minimum. If you are unsure about driving a bus then we are happy to take you out for a short drive for you to decide. We do, however, ask that if you complete your training by us you give a commitment of at least one year.

Please be aware these buses are not new and they need TLC from the driver but as of yet no-one has had to get out and push the bus home.
